Why Pelican?

When choosing a platform for this blog, I went with Pelican, a lightweight and flexible static site generator built with Python. Python is a language I’m passionate about, and Pelican provides full control over my blog’s design and functionality without relying on complex backend systems.

The process of setting up Pelican was both challenging and rewarding. Configuring it with Nginx in a reverse proxy environment tested my skills, but it also deepened my understanding of web server configurations. Customizing the themes to match my vision felt like crafting BlogByNuX from the ground up, and it was an experience I thoroughly enjoyed.
